Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sons, King and Justin Combs, were seen arriving at Kanye West's Los Angeles studio amid the release of a controversial song featuring Diddy, Kanye’s daughter North West, and new Yeezy artist Jasmine Williams.
On Saturday, Kanye shared the song with his followers on X, captioning: "LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS my daughter NORTH WEST and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine Williams."
The track quickly sparked backlash, drawing criticism from Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who opposed their daughter's involvement.
Kim Kardashian allegedly sent him a cease-and-desist letter demanding the song be taken down. According to TMZ, Kanye posted and quickly deleted a heated text exchange with Kim regarding the song and their daughter’s involvement.
In the messages, Kanye wrote:
"Amend it or I'm going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You're going to have to kill me."
Kim, 44, responded:
"I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she's 18, it goes to her. So stop. I sent paperwork over so she wouldn't be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!"
The song was released just one day after Diddy, credited as Puff Daddy on the track, appeared in court for a pretrial hearing in New York City. The Bad Boy Records founder pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
His son, Christian 'King' Combs, who also features on the track, was present at his father’s hearing before later being seen at Kanye’s studio in Los Angeles.
