Bollywood star Tiger Shroff continued to capture attention on social media this week with a spirited dance to “Standing Next to You,” a solo single by Jungkook released in late 2023.
The clip, shared by fans and reposted across platforms, shows Shroff performing the choreography with his characteristic agility, impressing viewers with both precision and stage-worthy flair. “Standing Next to You” is a funk-pop track from Jungkook’s debut album Golden that has charted worldwide and been praised for its dynamic sound and danceable groove.
In the video, Shroff wears a light blue, full-sleeved hoodie paired with navy blue loose-fitting pants accented with stripes, projecting a casual yet performance-ready look that emphasises his movements. The outfit quickly became part of the conversation online, with fans commenting on how it highlights his athletic build and dance stance.
Shroff’s dance to “Standing Next to You” is the latest in a series of clips that underline his growing reputation as not only an action star but a formidable dancer. He first made waves internationally on social platforms when he performed to “Dynamite”, the 2020 hit by BTS that marked a milestone in the band’s global success.
“Dynamite” topped charts around the world and became the first song by the group to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, broadening the mainstream appeal of K-Pop and elevating the profile of its choreography.
South Korean super-group BTS are preparing for a major return in 2026, marking their first full-group comeback in nearly four years since completing mandatory military service.
The septet’s new studio album, Arirang, is scheduled for release on 20 March 2026, and represents their fifth full-length Korean album — a significant milestone in their long-running career. Arirang takes its name from a traditional Korean folk song that symbolises cultural identity and emotional connection, underscoring the group’s intention to root their new music in heritage as well as contemporary sound.
The album Arirang features a 14-track list unveiled in early March, including the anticipated lead single “SWIM” alongside other titles such as “Body to Body”, “Hooligan”, “Aliens”, “Merry Go Round” and “Into the Sun”. The tracklist reveals a blend of musical influences and shows BTS’s ambition to expand both their sonic palette and global reach.
Pre-release interest has been extraordinary, with Arirang becoming one of the fastest albums to top the Spotify global countdown chart and setting records for pre-saves by an Asian artist — evidence of the group’s sustained international popularity even before the official drop.
Accompanying the album’s release, BTS will stage a special comeback performance, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on 21 March. This event, their first live concert in years, will be streamed live on Netflix to more than 190 countries, marking a historic streaming collaboration for both K-Pop and the platform.
In addition, the group will embark on the Arirang World Tour from April 2026 to March 2027, spanning over 80 shows in more than 30 cities worldwide and affirming their position as one of the music industry’s most influential acts.
