
Actor Tom Holland has suffered an injury while filming for his upcoming Marvel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He was rushed to a hospital immediately.
According to Deadline, Holland suffered a mild concussion as he sustained injury on the Glasgow sets. The shooting has been suspended in the wake of the accident. The schedule is expected to remain paused for a few days.
Reportedly, the incident occurred after a stunt went wrong. However, no one else except Tom Holland suffered an injury.
It is said that the actor is currently on a break as a precaution. The shoot schedule will be adjusted as per his break.
The actor or the makers are yet to issue a statement.
Meanwhile, social media is filled with posts from worried fans of Holland.
MCU's Spider-Man: Brand New Day productions kick-started in Glasgow in August 2025. The film is all set to hit theatres in July 2026.
In a recent update, the makers revealed a new Spider-Man suit featuring bold, raised black webbing over a striking red-and-blue design.
Soon after, Tom Holland gave fans an even closer look in a teaser video from the film’s set, where he appeared in the updated costume. “We ready?” he said in the video, as the suit’s design drew comparisons to the classic versions worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Besides Holland, several others will be reprising their role in the upcoming film. The returning cast features Zendaya and Jaco Batalon.
The film will also feature a number of new names such as Liza Colon-Zayas, Tramell Tillman and Sadie Sink. Mark Ruffalo will also return as the Hulk. He will be joined by Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion.
While the previous Spider-Man films were directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings fame director Destin Daniel Cretton.
While Tom Holland is currently recuperating from the mishap on the sets, he recently made news with his girlfriend, Zendaya.
The couple was snapped attending an event in London, one of their rare public appearance these days.
