Cricketer Zaheer Khan and actress Sagarika Ghatge welcomed a baby boy. Sagarika took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news. She posted a family portrait and also revealed the name of their son.

The portrait showed Zaheer holding his child in his arms as Sagarika stood next to him. The other photo showed the couple holding onto their son's little hand.

Sagarika captioned the picture as: “With love, gratitude and divine blessings we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan.🙏🧿"

Soon after the post was shared, fans and friends of the couple flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages.

Shark Tank India’s Anupam Mittal wrote, “Congrats guys, god bless 💜". Anushka Sharma, Diana Penty, Angad Bedi, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Huma Qureshi and Athiya Shetty also sent wishes to the couple.

The post garnered one lakh likes and thousands of comments and reshares, as of 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

What does Fatehsinh mean?

Sagarika and Zaheer have named their son Fatehsinh. The name, as per multiple sources, is a combination of the terms 'fateh' and 'singh', the Hindustan Times reported.

While 'fateh' means victorious, 'singh', or as used in the baby boy's name, 'sinh' means lion. Together then, 'Fatehsinh' means a victorious lion.

Zaheer and Sagarika tied the knot on November 23, 2017.

Now seven years counting, the two have graduated onto becoming a family of three. During a chat with Hauterrfly, Sagarika revealed how had she met Zaheer earlier on in life, she would have gotten married way sooner than she did.

“I think today, who I am and how I am, you know everything, how I look at life, is all thanks to him. Because, he just grounds you. He just is your safe space…I wish I'd met him a little,” Sagarika said.

Sagarika, best remembered as Preeti Sabharwal from Chak De! India, opened up about their love story and revealed if religion was ever a concern for their families.

“No, not really. It was more about other people around us making that conversation. My parents are very progressive," she told Hauterrfly and then added, “Of course, things were discussed, but for me, the priority was finding the right human being to share my life with."
