US pitches cheaper solar technology to India amid high dependence on China

CHENNAI: The United States wants India to explore manufacturing a cheaper alternative to silicon solar cells, U.S. Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette said on Wednesday, amid high dependence on Chinese technology.
