Kent is extraaa innings sponsor. Spot buy on live matches will be done by Apple, Netflix, Mankind Pharma, Bharat Matrimony and My circle 11.com among others.

“The advertise response has been really good as the entire Indian team will be playing on this tour coming on the back of recently concluded ICC World Cup," said Rohit Gupta, chief revenue officer (ad sales and international business) at Sony Pictures Networks India. “Since the ticket size of this tournament is much smaller it is a good buy on TV. We have a huge Indian community we expect to attend the matches which will be held in Florida."

The matches, being played across five venues in the Caribbean and in Florida, USA, will be telecast in English on Sony Ten 1 channels and in Hindi on Sony Ten 3 channels. They will also be streamed on Sony’s video streaming platform SonyLIV which has brought advertisers such as Swiggy, Apple and Amazon.

“The momentum on advertising is still alive with brands continue to come on board. This is good opportunity for us to increase our subscription numbers especially the larger screen users. We will be running regional commentary in Tamil and Telugu for the first time to the overall language mix. This could be our biggest cricketing series," said Uday Sodhi, business head - Digital Sony Pictures Networks India.

The month-long series, comprising three T20s, ODIs and two test matches, will feature the Indian cricket team for the first time after their appearance at the Cricket World Cup Semi-Finals. The India tour of West Indies will also mark the start of the ICC World Test Championship for both teams.

“This tournament will witness the entire India team playing and is expected to do well. Since the ODI and T20 matches will start around 8pm it is a prime time slot which further boost viewership. Moreover, West Indies has good set of players who also play well in the IPL so it will be a good contest," said Jigar Rambhia, national director, sports and entertainment partnerships, Wavemaker India.
