BSNL launches ₹2,499 FTTH plan with 40GB daily data, 100Mbps speed

BSNL has announced its ₹2,499 fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband plan to over Jio GigaFiber and Airtel V-Fiber. BSNL's ₹2,499 plan offers 40GB of daily data at a speed of 100Mbps along with unlimited voice calling facility.
Users will also get a free email ID access along with a gigabyte's worth of mailbox space.
Once the fair usage policy (FUP) limit has been exhausted by the user, the speed will be lowered to 2Mbps.
The broadband plan also offers a 25% cashback on a half-yearly or annual recharge. BSNL is also not charging any installation in Delhi, however in other circles installation charges may incur.
The plan is not available in all circles and has been launched under the Bharat Fiber programme.
In comparison, Jio GigaFiber claims to offer 35GB data per day at ₹1.1 per GB. Airtel's V-Fiber plans start at ₹1,099 offering 250GB of data per month at up to 100Mbps. The plan also comes with free unlimited calls (local and STD) and users can also get up to 1,000 GB of bonus data under the data rollover facility.
