Gold price and silver prices in your city today: The prices of the yellow metal dropped on India's MCX on Tuesday, October 21, after Diwali 2025 sales.

MCX Gold December futures last closed 0.21% lower at ₹1,28,000 per 10 grams, while MCX Silver December contracts fell 0.22% at ₹1,50,000 per kg on Tuesday, October 21. Notably, MCX India is closed today due to Diwali Balipratipada. The commodities market was also closed on Tuesday for normal trading; however, it was open for a brief period during Muhurat trading hours.

According to data on the Indian Bullion Association (IBA), 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,28,270/10 gm at 11:23 am on October 22. Further, 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,17,581/10 gms. Silver prices today are at ₹1,50,320/kg (Silver 999 Fine), data showed.
