Carborundum Universal Limited is an India-based materials sciences engineering solutions provider. The Company's segments include Abrasives, Ceramics, Electro minerals, Power, IT Services and Others. Abrasive segment comprises bonded, coated, processed cloth, polymers, power tools and coolants. Ceramics segment includes technical ceramics and super-refractory solutions to address wear protection, corrosion resistance, electrical resistance, heat protection and ballistic protection. Electro minerals segment includes deals with the materials-fused alumina’s, its variants, and silicon carbide - used in abrasives and refractories globally. The Company also provides information technology (IT) services, including IT infrastructure facility management services, software application development services and others. The Company serves both retail and industrial customers through multiple channels across India.
