Cheviot Company Limited is an India-based company that is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of jute products. It manufactures jute yarn, fabrics, sacks, and customized products, such as geotextiles, food grade bags and technical textiles for the domestic and international markets like the United States of America, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, and Japan. It also produces and customizes food grade bags and fabrics, which are used to package a range of food products, such as cocoa, coffee, and potatoes. The Company is an exporter of lightweight geotextiles to North America and Europe and is the supplier of erosion control blankets. It manufactures heavy geotextiles as per the factory requirements of the customer. It produces hydrocarbon free sacks. Its specialty fabrics include fire retardants and rot proofs, water repellents and naturally stiffened fabrics. It produces 50 pus million jute bags (per year) that are used for food grain packaging for the Government of India.
