GAIL (India) Limited is an India-based natural gas company. The Company's segments include Transmission Services; Natural Gas Marketing; Petrochemicals; LPG and other Liquid Hydrocarbons, and Other Segments. The Transmission Services segment includes the transmission of natural gas and liquid petroleum gas (LPG). The Natural Gas Marketing segment is engaged in the marketing of natural gas and biofuels. Petrochemicals segment is engaged in the production and marketing of polyethylene. Its LPG and other Liquid Hydrocarbons segment is engaged in the production and marketing of LPG, propane, pentane, and naphtha. Its Other segment includes City Gas Distribution, Exploration (CGD) and Production (E&P), Compressed Bio Gas and power generation. It owns and operates a network of over 16,420 kilometers of natural gas pipelines. It is also engaged in renewable energy, such as solar, wind, hydrogen, and biofuel. Its subsidiaries include Bengal Gas Company Limited, GAIL Gas Limited, and others.
