Jai Balaji Industries Ltd. is an India-based company, which is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing of iron and steel products including sponge iron, pig iron, ductile iron pipe, ferro chrome, billet, thermo-mechanically treated (TMT), coke and sinter with captive power plant. It has eight integrated steel manufacturing units spread across India in the states of West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Jharkhand. It manufactures TMT of all sizes, including six millimeters (mm), eight mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 28mm, and 32mm in grades with features for the construction industry. It has set up 3,00,000 million tons per annum (MTPA) ductile iron pipe plant at Durgapur, West Bengal, where it primarily offers metallic zinc-sprayed pipes with a finishing layer of bituminous paint (with fillers). It operates a 60-square-metre Sinter Plant at its Blast Furnace site, which recycles the iron-ore and coke fines into sinter cakes to be used as feed for the furnace.
