Jindal Drilling and Industries Limited is an India-based company. The Company is engaged in providing services to entities involved in the exploration of oil and gas. The Company operates through the drilling and related services segment. The Company offers various services, such as offshore drilling, directional/horizontal drilling, measurement while drilling (MWD) services and mud logging services. It offers various types of offshore rigs, such as drilling barges, jack-up rigs, submersible rigs, semi-submersible rigs and drill ships. It provides the retrievable MWD tool, which can be retrieved using a wireline, without having to pull out the complete string, thus saving considerable rig time. The MWD is a technology used to determine the position of a well by measuring the real time parameters, such as direction, inclination and tool face. It operates approximately six Jack-up Rigs, namely Jindal Explorer, Jindal Pioneer, Discovery I, Jindal Star, Virtue I and Jindal Supreme.
