Magadh Sugar & Energy Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sugar and its by-products (molasses, bagasse and press-mud), denatured spirits (including ethanol) and power. The Company's segments include Sugar, Distillery, and Co-generation. Its Sugar segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of sugar, molasses, and bagasse. Its Distillery segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of denatured spirits, including ethanol and bio-compost. Its Co-generation segment is engaged in the generation and transmission of power. The Company has about three sugar mills with a combined crushing capacity of approximately 19,000 tons of cane per day (TCD), one distillery at Narkatiaganj with a total capacity of approximately 155 kilo liters per day (KLPD) and a cogeneration facility generating approximately 38 megawatts (MW) power. Its sugar mills include New Swadeshi Sugar Mills, Bharat Sugar Mills, and Hasanpur Sugar Mills.
