Prabha Energy Limited, formerly Prabha Energy Private Limited, is an India-based exploration and production company. The Company’s portfolio has a diverse array of onshore exploration and production assets, encompassing both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons. It has participating interest in two CBM Blocks, such as North Karanpura CBM Block and Jharia CBM Block-1. North Karanpura CBM Block NK-CBM-2001/1 lies in the eastern part of North Karanpura coalfield. The block has an ovate outline and covers an area of 271.8 square kilometer (Sq. Km) spanning across Hazaribagh and Chatra districts of Jharkhand State. Its Jharia CBM Block-1 covers an area of about 26.55 Sq. Km, with total gas in place resource estimated of 25.22 billion cubic meters (BCM).
