Bulk and block deals: Stocks like Delhivery, Craftsman Automation, Sansera Engineering, Shilpa Medicare, Bright Outdoor Media, and Spectrum Talent Management witnessed large buying and selling on both BSE and NSE during Thursday's trading sessions. These stocks were in focus accordingly. Many foreign investors have picked up stakes in Delhivery, Sansera, and Craftsman.
On Thursday, Sensex ended at 63,238.89 down by 284.26 points or 0.45%. While Nifty 50 closed at 18,771.25, lower by 85.60 points or 0.45%.
Delhivery witnessed a huge block deal on Thursday with CA Swift Investments exiting the logistic solution provider.
As per the BSE data, CA Swift Investments offloaded its entire shareholding of 1,84,04,607 equity shares or 2.53% at a price of ₹385.5 apiece. The transaction aggregated to ₹709.5 crore.
On the other hand, there were in total of 34 buyers with the majority of them being foreign investors. Norway-based Norges Bank on account of the Government Petroleum Fund invested the most in Delhivery in the latest block deal, while Societe Generale, Saudi Central Bank, and BNP Paribas were also among the top buyers.
On NSE, in a block deal, Client Ebene Limited offloaded 47,77,421 equity shares at ₹835 per share in Sansera. The transaction was valued at ₹398.91 crore.
Also, CVCIGP II Employee Ebene sold 26,75,851 equity shares at ₹835 per share -- aggregating to ₹223.43 crore.
Many foreign investors, life insurance, and mutual fund houses emerged as buyers in Sansera. But ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund was the top buyer with 21,23,926 equity shares followed by Kotak Funds India Midcap Fund which bought 18,85,053 equity shares in Sansera.
Also, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund purchased 8,38,324 equity shares, Kotak Infinity Fund bought 21,898 equity shares, and Kotak Funds India Growth Fund bought 76,318 equity shares.
SBI Life Insurance bought 4,79,042 equity shares, Public Sector Pension Investment Board bought 1,17,114 equity shares, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte purchased 3,59,282 equity shares, while Societe Generale bought 4,19,163 equity shares in the company.
Further, Axis Mutual Fund bought 5,98,803 equity shares, Alps Kotak India Growth bought 1,36,220 equity shares, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance purchased 3,59,282 equity shares. Lastly, IMF also bought 38,847 equity shares.
Also, on NSE, Srinivasan Murali offloaded 8 lakh shares in Craftsman for a price of ₹3,960 apiece. The transaction was valued at around ₹316.8 crore.
Goldman Sachs Asia Equity Portfolio was the largest buyer with 5,05,050 equity shares in the company.
While Axis MF bought 1,26,260 equity shares, Manulife Global Fund India bought 61,730 equity shares, Societe Generale bought 63,130 equity shares, and Tara Emerging Asia Liquid purchased 43,830 equity shares.
Asset Reconstruction Company India sold 9.50 lakh shares in this sugar stock at ₹26.86 apiece on NSE.
On NSE, Nupur Anil Shah sold 1,74,250 equity shares at ₹196.38 per share in the company.
Neomile Corporate Advisory purchased 4,04,800 equity shares at ₹155 per share in the company on NSE.
On BSE, Sunrise Gilts and Securities sold 118,000 equity shares, while Aegis Investment purchased 461,000 equity shares in the company. The transaction was done at ₹200 per share.
While Nalini Dhirajlal Parekh sold 490,000 equity shares in the company at ₹251.90 apiece on BSE. Jayesh Dhirajlal Parekh bought the same equity shares.
