New Delhi: As the benchmark equity indices on Monday touched all-time high, almost 50 stocks listed on BSE hit 52-week high while almost 120 stocks had hit a 52-week low.
DCB Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India was some of the stocks which touched its 52-week high on Monday.
On the other hand, stocks like Biocon, Jubilant, JP Infra Tech, Monsanto, and VB Industries were among 120 stocks which were trading at their 52-week low.
Of the 2,286 scrips traded, 1,718 advanced, 440 declined and 129 remained unchanged.
As many as 115 securities had hit the upper circuit limit on Monday while 119 stocks touched lower circuit, as per BSE.
Sensex was up 1,127 points, or 2.97%, at 39068.32 while the Nifty was at 11746.90 rising 339.75 points, or 2.98% at 1:30 pm.
SBI, Yes Bank, Larsen and Toubro, IndusInd Bank and Tata Motors were the most gaining stock on Sensex so far, surging as much as 7.78%. However, Bajaj-Auto and Infosys were the biggest laggards falling as much as 0.98%.
Meanwhile, on NSE, Indiabulls Housing Finance, SBI, Adani Ports, Yes Bank, and Grasim Industries were the most contributing stock advancing as much as 9.86%. Dr. Reddy’s, Zee Entertainment, Bajaj-Auto, Tech Mahindra and Infosys were the most losing stocks shredding as much as 6.64%.
