Miniratna PSU stock MSTC share price jumped over a per cent on Tuesday's trading session as the board is all set to announce the third interim dividend for its shareholders. The company has scheduled a board meeting to review and declare the interim dividend. At 10 am, the PSU stock was trading at ₹530.60 on NSE.
"A Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Wednesday, the 26th March, 2025 inter-alia to declare 3rd Interim Dividend for Financial year 2024-25, if any," the PSU said in an exchange filing.
MSTC Ltd has not disclosed the dividend record date in its latest filing. The PSU is expected to announce the record date and dividend amount on March 25.
MSTC share price was up 0.67 per cent on Tuesday to close at ₹522 apiece on NSE. The stock has delivered multibagger returns to its investors by surging as much as 585 per cent in past five years.
MSTC has consistently distributed dividends to its shareholders. In February 2025, the PSU declared a dividend of ₹32.
Likewise, in 2024, the company issued dividends three times— ₹4 in November, ₹5 in September, and ₹5 in February. In 2023, MSTC provided dividends of ₹5.50 in November, ₹3.20 in September, and ₹6.30 in February.
Government-owned e-commerce service provider MSTC Ltd announced a 506.04 per cent year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit, reaching ₹250.9 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024.
In the same quarter of the previous fiscal, MSTC recorded a net profit of ₹41.4 crore, according to a regulatory filing. The company reported an exceptional gain of ₹275.5 crore in Q3FY25, compared to a loss of ₹1.9 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's operational revenue grew by 12.8 per cent to ₹81.1 crore, up from ₹71.9 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. At the operating level, EBITDA saw an 18.5 per cent rise, reaching ₹48.7 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal compared to ₹41.1 crore in the corresponding period last year.
