Stocks to Watch: Bharti Airtel, Titan Company, NTPC, PNB, Piramal Enterprises

New Delhi: Here is a list of top 10 stocks that may be in focus on Tuesday:

Bharti Airtel: Investors will eye the stock as the telecom giant will announce its earnings for the December ended quarter later today. The earnings come at a time when the company is struggling to clear dues after an unfavourable Supreme Court verdict on adjusted gross revenue.

Titan Company: The watch and jewellery maker will announce its earnings for the quarter ended December today. Separately, Tata Global Beverages Ltd and Avanti Seeds Ltd will also report their financial results for the fiscal third quarter.

GMR Infra: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure Ltd, has signed a concession agreement to commission, operationalise and maintain the civilian enclave at Bidar airport in north Karnataka. The agreement is under India’s regional connectivity scheme UDAN, or Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik.

NTPC: The state-owned company has raised a syndicated Japanese yen (JPY) loan worth $750 million and will use the funds to install flue gas desulphurization (FGD) system at its power projects across the country, including new hydro projects and projects using ultra-supercritical technology, to help meet new emission norms.

Punjab National Bank: The state-owned lender will announce its earnings for the December quarter later today. The bank is in the process of merging its business with that of Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India as announced by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in October last year.

JK Cement: The company has commissioned a 1-mt-per annum grey cement grinding capacity in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan and a 1.5 mt per annum utility in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Both units have already started commercial dispatches. Work at split-grinding unit in Balasinor, Gujarat is in advanced stage of completion, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Piramal Enterprises: The company will today announce its earnings for the three months ended December today. Separately, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd and Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Energy Ltd will also release their numbers for the third quarter today.

GSK Pharma: The pharmaceutical company reported a loss of 661.16 crore for the third quarter compared to a profit of 113.67 crore in the same period last fiscal. Revenue fell 5.7% year-on-year to 778.59 crore in the December quarter.

Deepak Nitrite: The company’s net profit for the quarter-ended December jumped to 157 crore from 39.7 crore a year ago. Revenue of the company was also up 44.2% year-on-year at 1,119.9 crore.

Affle India: The company reported a 31.33% year-on-year rise in its net profit during the third quarter to 21.45 crore. It saw a 27.4% increase in its revenue during the reporting quarter to 94.46 crore.
