
TVS Motor Q2FY26 results today: TVS Motor Company, one of the country's leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers, announced its September quarter (Q2FY26) results today, October 28, reporting numbers in line with Street estimates and posting its highest-ever sales, revenue, and profit.
The Chennai based company reported a 36.6% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit at ₹906 crore, compared with ₹663 crore in the same period last year. In the preceding June quarter, it had posted a net profit of ₹778.59 crore.
Revenue from operations during the reporting quarter grew 29% to ₹11,905 crore, compared to ₹9,228 crore in the quarter ended September 2024, driven by strong sales in both domestic and international markets. The company’s electric vehicle sales also saw strong expansion.
At the operating level, the EBITDA came in at 1,509 crore for the second quarter, against ₹1,080 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal. Despite a sharp rise in RM costs, the company’s EBITDA margin expanded by 100 basis points YoY to 12.7%.

Sales grew by 23% to over 15 lakh units: Overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including international business, grew by 23%, registering the highest-ever quarterly sales of 15.07 lakh units in the quarter ended September 2025, as against 12.28 lakh units in the same period last year.
Export market remains strong: Two-wheeler sales in the international business grew by 31%, reaching 3.63 lakh units in the quarter ended September 2025, compared to 2.78 lakh units in the corresponding quarter of 2024.
Electric vehicle sales near one lakh units: During the quarter, the company’s EV sales grew by 7%, achieving the highest-ever quarterly sales of 0.80 lakh units, up from 0.75 lakh units in the quarter ended September 2024.
Looking ahead, the company said that magnet availability continues to pose challenges in the short to medium term.
Expanded product lineup: The company launched four products in the last three months, strengthening its EV segment with the launch of TVS Orbiter. TVS Motor also forayed into the adventure rally tourer segment with its new super-premium offering, TVS Apache RTX.
Half-yearly performance: Total revenue for the half-year ended September 2025 grew by 25% to ₹21,986 crores against ₹17,604 crores in the half-year ended September 2024. On the bottom line, the net profit improved by 36% to ₹1684 crore.
