Talbros Automotive Components has secured multi-year orders worth Rs. 400 crores from local and foreign customers for gaskets, heat shields, forgings, and chassis.

Across its business divisions, product sectors, and joint ventures, Talbros Automotive Components Limited has secured fresh multi-year orders totaling Rs. 400 crores from both local and foreign customers. These orders, which span the company's product lines for gaskets, heat shields, forgings, and chassis, are to be carried out over the course of the next 5-7 years.

Shares of Talbros Automotive Component surged 12 percent in morning trading on July 7 after the company received new multi-year orders worth approximately 400 crore, reaching a fresh 52-week high of 826.35. Over the past 1 months, the stock of this auto components and equipment company has surged by 30 percent. The stock is up 41 per cent year-to-date and 55 per cent in the last one year.

The company's consolidated net profit jumped 33.9% to 16.88 crore on 18.2% rise in Total income from operations to 174.95 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.Data revealed that ace investor Vijay Kedia bought stake in auto ancillary during the December 2021 quarter and Dolly Khanna invested in the company, a year ago in the December 2020 quarter. According to the latest shareholding pattern of Talbros Automotive Components, Dolly Khanna increased her stake in the company by 0.47% during the June 2023 quarter.

Orders for stamped metal body parts in the colour white worth more than Rs. 165 crores over the course of five years have been received from a reputable and well-known export OEM (the expected SOP for these goods is FY25). This purchase was made via the Joint Venture, Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems Pvt. Ltd.

The company also received orders for forgings products from export customers for more than 50 crores during a five-year period, including those for Planetary Gear, Brake Pistone, Spacer, Ring Gear, and many more.

Received orders for the heat shield products worth Rs. 65 crores from several domestic OEMs for more than 5 years. These orders cover various cutting-edge heat shield technologies.

Throughout a five-year period, the company has received orders for its gasket products totaling 120 crores of rupees from both domestic and international OEM clients. Among them is a 40 crore rupee order for electric vehicles from a renowned international OEM.

These orders will aid the business in gaining more market share and expanding its share with both current and potential clients globally in the upcoming years.

Over the years, Talbros has become a prominent brand in India, specializing in gaskets, chassis, rubber products, and forgings. The Talbros Group also includes a Mercedes Benz dealership for passenger cars.

TACL, along with its joint venture alliances, operates 10 manufacturing facilities in country. The company has established technical collaborations with Nippon Leakless Corporation and Sanwa Packaging, both based in Japan.
