The popular iOS-only email app OnMail is now available for Android users. OnMail focuses primarily on privacy, giving you greater control over your inbox, free of email tracking and junk mails.
Apart from a minimal user interface, OnMail is also handy when it comes to certain other features. For instance, the app’s “permission control” setting allows you to accept or block email senders before they reach your mailbox. Users can decide who is allowed to show up in their inbox on a regular basis. You can also move a conversation or an email thread to the “done” section. These threads are searchable.
The app also has useful filters and a “split inbox” that categorises emails. The “nudges” feature reminds you to follow up on emails. An additional AI-based feature is the “smart replies” option, which offers suggestions on responses.
"Smart Folders separate your Shopping, Travel, Packages and Events so you’re able to browse all your details at a glance. Unsubscribe suggestions help keep your inbox clear, a built-in Grammar Checker double checks your work, and a Refund monitor ensures you pay the lowest price possible. Lastly, our Natural Language search engine gives you the power to search without the need of any messy or complicated jargon," an official statement on the OnMail website explains.
OnMail’s free service gives you 10GB storage space and allows 100MB attachment file size. You can also add your Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and other third-party accounts to your OnMail account through its two pricing plans: personal and professional. The personal plan will cost you $4.99 (around ₹370) per month and comes with 100GB storage, a 250MB attachment file size limit, and more features. The professional plan costs $9.99 a month, offers 500GB storage and a 1GB attachment file size limit.
