Akasa Air introduces 10% ‘Monsoon Bonanza’ discount; here's how to book

Akasa Air announced a 10% discount on Saver and Flexi rates for one-way or round-trip travel to 16 locations across India during its Monsoon Bonanza sale. Bookings can be made until June 5, 2023, for travel beginning on July 1 using the code Monsoon.

Akasa Air has announced a special ‘Monsoon Bonanza’ sale across its network, giving customers the opportunity to reserve affordable rates for upcoming trips. The airline is providing a 10% discount on “Saver" and “Flexi" rates when booking one-way or round-trip travel to 16 locations across the nation. Booking made during the sale are accepted for a week from 0001 hours on May 30 through 2359 hours on June 5, 2023 for travel beginning on July 1 using the code “Monsoon" to take advantage of the discount.

Since its founding in August 2023 by Rakesh Junjhunwala, Aditya Ghosh and Vinay Dube, Akasa Air has carried more than 2 million passengers and reached the milestone of operating more than 900 flights per week with a fast growing network of 35 unique routes connecting 16 cities. These include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, and Kolkata.

Akasa Air signed an order for 72 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft with CFM LEAP-1B engines, which are fuel-efficient. Out of these 72 aircraft, Akasa has received 19 and is rapidly growing its network. The majority of the Boeing 737 MAX airplanes are furnished with a number of best-in-class products and services such as seats with USB connections, plenty of legroom, in-flight food service under Café Akasa, festive menus with unusual choices to provide customers with a luxurious, gourmet experience. Customers can now fly at reasonable prices with their pets in the cabin or in cargo depending on the size of the animal. Additionally, Akasa Air recently made its safety instruction card available in Braille for people with visual impairments in an effort to make travel inclusive.

Bookings for flights on Akasa Air can be made through the airline's website, www.akasaair.com, Android and iOS apps, travel agencies, and a number of OTAs located all throughout the nation.
