Ministry of Civil Aviation has also sent an advisory to airlines to monitor any abnormal surge in airfares to and from Bhubaneswar and other airports of Odisha in view of the Odisha train mishap, said the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
“Further, any cancellation and rescheduling of flights due to the incident may be done without penal charges," MoCA issues advisory.

National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said a probe should be carried out to ascertain if the anti-collision device was installed on the route that witnessed a horrific train crash in Odisha's Balasore and fix the responsibility for the accident that has claimed at least 261 lives.
"Recently, the honourable railway minister announced that they have now got a major device whereby these accidents will not take place. I think this must be investigated whether that device was there and if it was, why was it not functioning? It is a major disaster that has not occurred for a long time in the country. I think we all want to know what happened," the former Union minister told PTI TV.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee says state government will cooperate and work with the Railways and Odisha Government until the work is complete. She added saying, “Railway provides ₹10 Lakhs as compensation. We will provide ₹5 Lakhs each to the people of our state."
"We sent 40 ambulances yesterday and 70 today. 40 of our doctors have reached here and they are working, she added.
While speaking to reporters, Dr Jayant Panda, SCB Medical College, Cuttack said, “There is a very huge response from the youth. Hundreds of people donated blood. More than 3000 units of blood collected since last night in Cuttack, Balasore and Bhadrak. We've also donated to CM and PM relief funds."
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar expressed his anguish over Odisha's triple train tragedy that claimed the lives of 238 people and said that the railways should investigate and action should be taken against the perpetrators.
According to a preliminary report released on Saturday by the State Emergency Operation Centre of Odisha's Special Relief Commissioner in Bhubaneswar, the accident took place at around 7 pm at Bahanaga Bazar Station in Odisha's Balasore district.
Ajit Pawar said that importance should be given to the lives of the passengers injured.
"This is an unfortunate incident, the railway department should investigate it, and action should be taken against those who are guilty. Railways should give importance to the lives of the passengers. Earlier railway minister used to resign on such train accidents, but now no one is ready to speak," said NCP leader Ajit Pawar.

UK's Foreign Secretary James Cleverly express condolences to the families of the victims.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw while speaking to reporters shared an update saying that the rescue operation has been completed and restoration work has started. "We will thoroughly investigate this incident and will ensure such incidents don't happen in future, he said.
V Ponram, SP, Tamil Nadu police said that a train will leave in the evening carrying relatives of the injured to the Balasore accident site. “We've opened 2 control rooms. Our objective is to facilitate the people. We're in touch with Odisha control room, and Railways officials," he said.

Doctors from AIIMS-Bhubaneswar have been dispatched to Balasore and Cuttack in Odisha to assist in the relief operations at site of the train accident that killed at least 261 people, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday.
"Two teams of doctors from AIIMS-Bhubaneswar have been dispatched for Balasore and Cuttack to assist in relief operations at the rail accident site in Odisha," Mandaviya said on Twitter.
"We are providing all required help and medical assistance to the victims of the tragic train accident to save precious lives," he added.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has constituted a high-level committee to visit the Odisha accident site involving three trains and extend help in the relief and rescue operations.
The Chief Minister held a high-level meeting with CMO officials here on Saturday and reviewed the situation. He directed them to be in touch with the officials of the Odisha CMO and Railway Department.
The committee expressed shock over the train mishap in Odisha and has constituted a high-level IAS officers committee under the aegis of IT Minister G. Amarnath to visit the site of the accident in which 238 people were estimated killed and over 900 injured
The Andhra CM directed the officials to establish enquiry and grievance cells in the offices of District Collectors to deal with grievances and respond immediately.

A special train carrying stranded passengers from Odisha's Balasore has arrived at Howrah railway station in West Bengal
Odisha rail accident: Two trains carrying around 1,200 stranded passengers of the trains involved in the gruesome accident at Bahanaga Bazar in Odisha's Balasore district will arrive at Howrah on Saturday, a South Eastern Railway official said.
While one train is coming with 1,000 passengers, another is on its way from Balasore to Howrah with around 200 stranded passengers, he said.
Necessary assistance along with food and water will be provided to the passengers at Kharagpur and Howrah stations.
One train is also going to Chennai with 195 passengers and it will also board passengers of Coromandel Express at stations on the way, the official added.
In a tweet, he wrote, “A tragedy the scale of which requires the entire country to pause in silent reflection, in memory of those who have lost their lives. Om Shanti. We cannot let such accidents happen again. We must get to the root cause of this tragedy. Whether human or technical error, neither should have resulted in such devastation. We need to re-look at our fail-safe mechanisms in railway operations."
The Coromandel Express train on Friday derailed in Odisha's Balasore district, killing at least 50 passengers while over 600 are reported to be injured. While speaking to ANI, Railways Spokesperson Amitabh Sharma said that the rescue operation has been completed. He further added that Kawach was not available on this route. “The rescue operation has been completed, now we are starting the restoration work. Kawach was not available on this route," he said.
He further added that more than 100 people have claimed ex-gratia payments. "Counters for the same have been set up at three places-Balasore, Soro and Bahanaga Bazar...As of now 48 trains cancelled, 39 diverted and 10 short-terminated, he said.

Indian Railways has released a list of helpline numbers in connection with the train accident near Odisha's Bahanaga Baazar station on Friday. The accident occurred after Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express derailed and fell onto the adjacent tracks. The Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express then collided with these coaches, causing its own coaches to capsize. Shortly afterwards, a goods train also collided with these derailed coaches.
