3 days after Balasore accident, goods train derails in Odisha's Bargarh

At least five bogies of a goods train carrying limestone derailed on a private narrow gauge rail line in Odisha’s Bargarh district on Monday. However, no injury or casualty was reported in the incident.
This comes three days after three trains collided in Odisha’s Balasore, killing at least 275 people and leaving hundreds injured.
“There is a private narrow gauge rail line Between Dungri Limestone Mines And the Cement Plant Of Acc Bargarh. The line, wagons, and loco all are private. It is in no way connected with Indian Railway system. A derailment has happened in early morning today on that railway line. It is not at all connected with Indian railway system," the Ministry of Railways said in a statement.
“All the infrastructure (of the derailed train), including rolling stock, engine, wagons, train tracks (narrow gauge) are being maintained by [a private cement company]," it added.
An ANI report quoting East Coast Railway said there is no role of the railways in this matter.
