NEW DELHI : Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is set to launch free WiFi in the coaches of the stations on the Airport Express line from Thursday, officials from the organisation said on Wednesday.

The facility will be the first on any of the corridors of DMRC.

"The WiFi facility inside train coaches on the Airport Line will be launched tomorrow," a senior official said on Wednesday.

"We already have WiFi facility on platforms of the Blue Line and the Airport Express Line," he said.

The Airport Express line has six stations beginning with the New Delhi station and ending with Dwarka sector 21. A seventh station, ECC Centre-Dwarka Sector 25, is under construction.

DMRC plans to introduce free WiFi in coaches of other corridors as well.
