Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, shared a photo on Twitter on Sunday to highlight the apparent menace humans create everywhere.

The photo was that of a unique signboard placed inside a forest that read: “In the forests and mountains, animals do not leave trash, humans do. Please behave like animals.”

The poster took him down a memory lane and he reminisced about how his mother used to rebuke him for any mischief caused by him, "When angry with my behaviour, my mother used to say “Stop behaving like an animal.” ( Jaanwar ki tarah!) I wish I could tell her today that I was behaving virtuously!"

Mahindra, who has seven million followers on Twitter, always mixes human observations along with the progress being made by his auto company.

His tweet went instantly viral and garnered three-and-half thousand retweets and 17,000 likes. One user even pointed out the location of the signboard saying he had seen it at Edakkal Caves in Wayanad, Kerala.
