As thousands of students wait to receive the results for Class 10 and 12 exams a fake CBSE circular has surfaced. The now viral document claims that the details will be uploaded onto the official website on May 11 (Thursday) and shared with schools via email. CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has however confirmed that this is fake news.
While the Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce Class 10 and 12 results later this month, there has been no official confirmation of dates so far. A message on the DigiLocker government site asserts that the results will be declared "soon" and urges students to activate their platform. The two exam results are likely to be released on the same day.
Candidates will be informed via an official notice on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) when the results are actually released.
