Two schools, DPS RK Puram and GD Goenka school on Paschim Vihar in Delhi, received bomb threats on Monday morning via email, in Delhi get bomb threats.
As reported by ANI, citing Delhi Police, “Two schools in Delhi received bomb threats via e-mail - one in RK Puram and another one in Paschim Vihar. School administrations have sent children back to their homes. Fire and police informed.”
The DFS official said calls of bomb threats were received from DPS RK Puram at 7.06 am and GD Goenka Paschim Vihar at 6.15 am, PTI reported.
The fire officials, including the dog squad, bomb detection teams, and local police reached the schools and conducted the search operation.
As of now, nothing suspicious has been found, a police official said.
The official said further checking was underway.
Earlier on November 29, Venkateshwar Global School in the Rohini area received bomb threats via email.
Earlier on November 19, the Delhi High Court instructed the Delhi Government and Delhi Police to develop a comprehensive action plan, including a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to address bomb threats and related emergencies. The Court has set a deadline of eight weeks for the completion of these directives.
