An IndiGo flight 6E2211 from Delhi to Varanasi faced a bomb threat at Delhi airport, prompting authorities to move the aircraft to an isolation bay for a thorough investigation.

1. “A bomb threat was reported on an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi. The aircraft has been moved to an isolation bay for investigation. Aviation security and a bomb disposal team are currently on site,” ANI reported, citing an airport official.
2. Officials of the Delhi Fire Services said that at 5:35 AM today, there was news of a bomb in the flight from Delhi to Varanasi. “QRT reached the spot. All the passengers were evacuated through the emergency door. All passengers are safe, and the flight is being inspected.”
3. The pilot saw a piece of paper in the lavatory with the note "bomb blast @ 30 minutes", following which he informed the control room, PTI reported.
4. In a statement, Indigo said, “IndiGo flight 6E2211 operating from Delhi to Varanasi had received a specific bomb threat at Delhi airport. All necessary protocols were followed and the aircraft was taken to a remote bay per airport security agencies' guidelines." The statement added that all passengers were safely evacuated via the emergency exits. The flight is currently undergoing inspection. It added that after all security checks are completed, the aircraft will be positioned back in the terminal area.

5. Meanwhile, Delhi Airport Authorities confirmed that all passengers were safe. "All passengers are safe, and the flight is undergoing a detailed inspection," a Delhi Airport spokesperson told ANI. There were a total of 176 passengers on the flight who were deboarded, sources said.
