PremiumCBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has announced the result of class 10,12 students. Students who appeared in the exam can check their results on the official website: results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. They can also use DigiLocker and UMANG applications to check and download their results.
Students facing internet connectivity issues can check their results via IVRS and SMS.

To check their results, students need to use their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. To check their results in DigiLocker, CBSE has issued a six-digit security pins for activate their accounts. The DigiLocker PIN will be issued to these students by their respective schools.
The board has said that there would be no merit list this year to avoid any unhealthy competition. “No merit list will be declared by the CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition among the students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects," a board official said.
In Class 10th, girls have outperformed boys once again, recording a pass percentage of 94.25. The pass percentage of boys, on the other hand, stands at 92.27.
Next year, CBSE will conduct examination of class 10th and 12th from mid February onwards. “CBSE class 10, 12 exams for next year to be conducted from February 15, 2024," said Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.
Around1.34 lakh students were placed in compartment category. Other than this, the board has decided to do away with the nomenclature of ‘compartment’ and replace it with ‘supplementary’ exam.
After showing the best performance of CBSE class 12 students, Trivandrum again registered itself as the best performing region in CBSE class 10th result as well. In the region, 99.1 per cent students passed the exam. However, Guwahati was the worst performing region with 76.90 per cent of students qualifying the exam.
The passing percentage in Class 10 results stood at 93.12 per cent in 2023. There was a decline of 1.28 per centage point than last year, when it was 94.40 per cent.

Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan congratulated the students who cleared their 12th exams, as CBSE announced the result of class 12 students on Friday.
He congratulated the students and asked them to cherish their hardwork.
“Heartily congratulate my young friends who have cleared the #CBSE Class XII examinations. It is a moment to rejoice the success and cherish the fruits of hard work that you put all year round. Best wishes for a happy and bright future," he tweeted.
After announcing the Class 12 result, CBSE will soon announce the result of class 10 on Friday. Class 12 result was declared in morning.

The board stated that 87.33% of students cleared the exam, a dip of 5.38% as compared to the last year. However, the Trivandrum region tops with 99.91 per cent. Trivandrum emerged as the best-performing region in CBSE Class 12 examination results, where it registered 99.9% of pass percentage, whereas, Prayagraj stood at the bottom with pass percentage of 78.05%.
Chain of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas has again emerged as the best performing schools with a pass percentage of 97.51% this year.

Next year's board exams are scheduled from February 15. The board had informed that next year, class12 and class 12 exams will start from February 15.
This year's passing percentage of class 12 students stood at 87.33 per cent. Whereas, last year, the percentage stood at 92.71 per cent. This year a total of 16,60,511students took the CBSE Class 12 board exam, out of which only 14,50,174 students cleared the exam.
This year, CBSE didn't publish its merit list of Class 12. The move was aimed to eliminate unhealthy competition among students. Moreover, CBSE didn't award first, second, or third divisions. In 2023, only merit certificates will be issued to 0.1 per cent of students who are among the top scorer in different subjects.
