Coronavirus: Three found positive in Goa, youngest is 25 years

NEW DELHI: Three males, aged 25, 29 and 55, were found positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. They have travel history of returning to Goa from Spain, Australia and the US, respectively, a PTI news report said, quoting unnamed officials.
“I have been informed by the state DHS (Director Health Services) that 3 individuals have been tested positive for #COVID19 in Goa. We are providing the best healthcare facility to the diagnosed patients," Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant said in a tweet.
This is the first time the tourist state has reported coronavirus positive cases. All three are admitted at Bambolim’s Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Sawant said their condition is stable and that the authorities have traced their contacts and put them in quarantine.
There are now 657 people affected by coronavirus in India since it first erupted in China in December. Of this, 12 have died and 43 recovered.
The deadly virus has so far affected 460,250 people in the world with the total count of those dead being 20,857. The number of recoveries stands at 113,691.
