Commuters travelling on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro faced inconvenience today as there was delay in services. The reason for the delay is not known. Tweeting about the delay in services, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said, "Blue Line Update: Delay in services between Dwarka Sector 21 and Rajiv Chowk. Normal service on all other lines."

Several commuters took to Twitter to vent out their anger.

The services were affected between the Dwarka and Rajiv Chowk metro stations. The Blue Line connects Janakpuri West in Delhi and Electronic City in Noida.

After one hour of disruption, normal services have resumed on the route, DMRC tweeted.

The Delhi Metro grey line which will connect urban village area of Najafgarh will be opened for public from 5pm in the evening today. With the opening of this section, the Delhi Metro network will expand to 377 km with 274 stations, including the Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line. The over 4.2 km Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor consists of three stations— Dwarka, Nangli and Najafgarh. After the Dwarka Sector 21 station, Dwarka will now become the second interchange facility in the Dwarka sub-city.
