Commuters travelling on Delhi Metro’s Blue line will have to take some extra time while travelling to Noida sector 61 and 52 metro stations as the trains will run slower than usual on the aforementioned stretch.

DMRC has tweeted that due to some maintenance work on the track between Noida Sector 61 and 52 metro stations the metro train services will run with slow speed.


DMRC will carry out the maintenance work on the affected section after the service hours of Delhi Metro.

"Trains will continue to run with slow speed between Noida Sec 61 and Noida Sec 52 as maintenance is needed for track in this section, which will be carried out after service hours. We regret the inconvenience caused. Please allow for extra time in your commute (sic)," the DMRC tweeted around 4.30 pm on Friday.

It did not specify when will the normal speed of the trains be resumed.

Delhi Metro's Blue Line services which runs from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida Electronic City and from Vaishali to Yamuna Bank is the longest line in the national capital's rapid transport system. It is also amongst the busiest route.
