- 112 startups has been already funded for a sum of ₹11.85 crore while 234 startups in the agriculture and allied sectors will be funded for a sum of ₹24.85 crore
- Agri startups selected are working in the field of agro-processing, artificial intelligence, digital agriculture, farm mechanisation etc.
NEW DELHI : The agriculture ministry on Thursday said it will fund 234 more startups in the agriculture and allied sectors with a sum of ₹24.85 crore under a central scheme in the current fiscal. The government is promoting innovation and agripreneurship by providing financial support and nurturing the incubation ecosystem under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY).
