Gurgaon faces Twitter outrage as heavy rains lead to waterlogging, traffic jams

  • People say the civic authorities should have had a better drainage system to deal with the deluge

While Gurgaon received a heavy amount of rains on Tuesday, the public was left huffing and puffing over the chaos that was witnessed on the roads.

Waterlogging and traffic jams could be seen at every major road and people vented their woes out on Twitter. An array of images and videos have been shared on the micro-blogging platform to illustrate the troubles that people are going through. People said the civic authorities should have had a better drainage system to deal with the deluge. It's at least the third time this season that Gurgaon's public had to face such a large scale inconvenience.
