New Delhi: The G20 agriculture ministers' meeting would be held in Hyderabad between 15 and 17 June.
The three-day event, organized by the Agriculture Working Group (AWG), will bring together over 200 delegates from G20 member countries, invited nations, and international organizations, the agriculture ministry said in a statement.
“This event will witness one of the major impactful discussions where global leaders will be exchanging ideas to address worldwide possibilities in achieving sustainable agriculture,” the ministry said in a tweet.
Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar, minister of state for agriculture Kailash Choudhary and other top officials will attend the event.
The meeting will see discussions on sustainable agriculture for food security and nutrition, women-led agriculture, sustainable biodiversity, and climate solutions. The final day of the meeting will conclude with the adoption of the outcomes of the Agriculture Working Group under the Indian Presidency of the G20.
