In a first, train passengers to be compensated for delays on board IRCTC's Tejas Express train
- The latest offer is in addition to the ₹25-lakh free insurance that will be given to passengers of the train
- The New Delhi to Lucknow Tejas Express ticket will be priced at ₹1,280 for AC chair car passengers and ₹2,450 for executive chair car.
The railway passengers of India’s first private train Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express will be compensated in case of any delays. The train will be flagged off on 4 October. The train is scheduled to make its first commercial run on 5 October.
