India cannot be pushed around: Rahul Gandhi speaks on relationship with China
As per Rahul Gandhi, India-China relationship is going to be 'tough'.

Rahul Gandhi has emphasised that India will not be swayed by China and stressed that the relationship between the two nations is expected to be challenging in the coming years. During a visit to Stanford University in California, Gandhi was addressing Indian students and responded to a question regarding the future of India-China relations.
Gandhi acknowledged the current difficulties, highlighting China's occupation of Indian territory and describing the situation as tough. He affirmed India's stance, asserting that the nation cannot be pushed around. The ongoing border standoff in eastern Ladakh has further strained bilateral ties, with India emphasising the importance of border peace for a normal bilateral relationship.
"How do you see the India-China relationship evolving in the next 5-10 years?" he was asked.
"It's tough right now. I mean, they've occupied some of our territory. It's rough. It's not too easy (a relationship). "India cannot be pushed around. That something is not going to happen," PTI quoted Gandhi as saying.

During the interaction, Gandhi expressed support for India's policy of maintaining a relationship with Russia, even amidst pressure from the West due to the Ukrainian conflict. He stressed that India must prioritise its own interests and stated that the country is not solely dependent on one nation but maintains diverse relationships with various countries.
Highlighting the significance of India's relationship with the United States, Gandhi stressed the need for collaboration in manufacturing and emerging fields such as data and artificial intelligence. He emphasised that a comprehensive partnership should not solely focus on security and defence aspects.

India, being a large country with its own interests, maintains relationships with multiple nations, continuously evolving and striking a balance. Gandhi stressed the importance of nurturing better relationships while acknowledging the inherent complexities and diversity of international relations.
