A Delhi court on Thursday allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to interrogate former finance minister P Chidambaram in Tihar jail on 22 -23 November in the INX Media money laundering case.
The order was passed by Special Judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar.
The ED said it had certain documents which it had to show Chidambaram and urged the court for permission to interrogate the senior Congress leader from 10 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 4 pm.
The Delhi high court had on 15 November dismissed Chidambaram's bail plea in the case. While delivering the verdict, Justice Suresh Kait had said prima facie allegations against Chidambaram were serious and show that he was actively involved and played a key role in the offence.
