Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra said he'll do a Facebook Live with TV anchor Arnab Goswami as Indian carriers have now been given a go-ahead to provide in-flight WiFi service to passengers.
Once provided, this facility is likely to help airlines collect more revenue and also help the telcos to earn as well.
As per industry reports, the service initially could be slightly expensive by global standards, IANS reported.
It may be recalled that IndiGo had barred the stand-up comedian for six months for portraying "unacceptable behaviour" onboard one of its flights.
While travelling on a Mumbai-Lucknow IndiGo flight, Kamra heckled the news anchor by asking questions over his news presentation style.
The stand-up comedian had filed a petition seeking directions to DGCA to revoke the flight ban and has challenged the internal inquiry committee set up by Indigo to look into the allegations against him.
Kamra, who was suspended from flying for heckling journalist Arnab Goswami during a flight and making a video of the incident, had earlier issued a legal notice to Indigo Airlines demanding a sum of ₹25 lakh for the mental pain and losses incurred and an unconditional apology.
After Kamra was barred from flying by Indigo, Air India, Spicejet, and GoAir also followed suit and imposed a suspension on him.
Kamra said he was neither sorry nor regretful of his actions, hours after IndiGo's internal panel decided to reduce the flying ban to three months.
