A group of people on Sunday attended the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio address 'Mann ki Baat' at a programme organised in a cinema hall in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city. Bharatiya Janata Party's Indore Lok Sabha member Shankar Lalwani organised the event at a multiplex in Sapna-Sangeeta area of the city. Talking to PTI, Lalwani claimed it was for the first time in the country that people enjoyed the 'Mann ki Baat' on the 70 mm screen of a cinema hall where the programme was broadcast. He said ex-servicemen, doctors, engineers, artists, senior office-bearers of business organisations and heads of different communities attended the programme.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' radio address has been showing a new direction to the country. Sawant was addressing a gathering in his Sankhalim Assembly constituency on the occasion of the 100th episode of the PM's radio programme.
Sawant said the country has seen a sea change due to the 'Maan ki Baat' programme. “People cutting across the political and religious spectrum have been following this series which is showing a new direction to our country," he added.
Goa Bharatiya Janata Party president Sadanand Shet Tanavade said, “Right from 'Swachh Bharat' (clean India) to 'Beti Bachao' (save the daughter), the initiatives promoted through 'Maan ki Baat' were well taken by citizens."
The 100th episode received a tremendously good response in Goa, he said, adding that the PM has put across how the issues raised in the last 99 episodes have helped to create the change. The PM has kept the country's interest as of paramount importance in his radio address, Tanavade said.

New York, New Jersey issue resolutions in honour of 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat
The State of New York and New Jersey have issued special resolutions honouring the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’, underscoring that the “vital" broadcast has become an effective means of communication to “promote good governance and deepen democracy."
Legislative Resolutions by the State of New York adopted in the Senate and Assembly on April 26, 2023, congratulate ‘Mann Ki Baat’ upon the occasion of celebrating its 100th edition on April 30.
The resolution in the Senate was introduced by Indian-American Senator Kevin Thomas and the one in the Assembly by Indian-American Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar. The New Jersey General Assembly resolution has been introduced by Assemblyman Raj Mukherji. Edison Mayor Sam Joshi also presented a resolution on the occasion.
The resolutions were presented to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar at a special community event here early Sunday where the 100th episode of the radio programme was broadcast.

A special study conducted by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has said that around 76% of Indian media persons believe Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat has played a significant role in introducing the real Bharat to countrymen. IIMC Director General Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi pointed out that the study also tried to understand which issue discussed by the Prime Minister in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ had the most influence. In response, 40% of respondents mentioned ‘education’, while 26% said ‘information about grassroots innovators’ as the most influential topic.
