An avalanche hit Sonamarg tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night, but there was no loss of life, officials said, as reported by PTI.
Officials said the avalanche struck the Sonamarg resort in Ganderbal district, central Kashmir, at around 10:12 pm on Tuesday.
The large avalanche was captured on CCTV, showing snow sweeping over buildings, according to PTI.
Authorities said there were no reports of casualties.
A day earlier, officials had issued a high-intensity avalanche warning for the district.
Sonamarg, along with many other areas in the valley, experienced moderate to heavy snowfall over the past 24 hours.
