The MBOSE SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) 10th Exams were conducted from March 3 to March 17, 2023. Similarly, the HSSLC (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Arts 12th Exams 2023 were held between March 3, 2023, and March 30, 2023. Following the completion of the evaluation process, the board is now ready to declare the results.
Prior to the theory exams, the HSSLC Practical Examination and Project Work for all streams, including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational, were scheduled from February 10 to 20, 2023. The detailed routines for both SSLC and HSSLC exams were announced well in advance, providing students with ample time for preparation.
Larisa Lamin, a student of Adventist Higher Secondary School in Thadlaskein, has emerged as the top scorer in the HSSLC (Class 12) examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE). Larisa obtained an impressive score of 450 out of 500, securing the first position in the exam. Following closely behind is Avelyne Francisca Khriam from St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School in Shillong, who secured 449 marks, earning the second spot. Deinamesha Hynniewta of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School in Shillong secured the third position with 446 marks.

In the recently announced MBOSE SSLC (Class 10) Result, the overall pass percentage stands at 51.93%. Boys have performed slightly better than girls in the general category, achieving a pass percentage of 70.39%, while girls attained a pass percentage of 68.86%. Among the districts, East Khasi Hills has emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 73.87%, while South West Garo Hills recorded the lowest pass percentage at 26.73%.
