Mumbai, Navi Mumbai reports 4 new coronavirus cases

- Three new cases of coronavirus was reported from Mumbai and another one from Navi Mumbai
- The total number of coronavirus positive cases in Maharshtra has increased to 37
NEW DELHI : The number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra jumped to 37 after 4 fresh cases were found in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai today, ANI reported quoting state health ministry.
Of the four cases, three were reported from Mumbai and one from Navi Mumbai, a state government official said.
Earlier, a 31-year-old man who travelled to Japan and Dubai, has tested positive in Maharashtra's Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and state health minister Rajesh Tope along with Chief Secretary is holding a review meeting with district magistrates via video conferencing on measures to control the spread of COVID-19.
So far, Maharashtra has reported the largest number of coronavirus cases in India. According to the union health ministry, 2 coronavirus patients (Delhi, Karnataka) have died while 13 have been cured and discharged.
