No public gathering till 11 June in the city, says Mumbai Police. Here's what all is prohibited
Mumbai police have restricted --the assembly of five or more persons; the procession of any person and the use of loudspeakers, musical band, and bursting of crackers in any procession till 11 June.

Mumbai Police has restricted gatherings of five or more people in the city. It is a routine preventive order for the city. In an official statement by Vishal Thakur, Deputy Commissioner of Ploce (Operations), Brihan Mumbai the ban on gathering will be valid till 11 June 2023 throughout the city.

The prohibition contained in the order is exempted for:
- Marriage ceremony and matrimonial function
- Funeral assemblies and processions on way to crematorium or burial places
-Statutory meetings of companies, clubs, societies, and associations
-Assemblies in and around cinema houses, theatres, or any place of public amusement for the purpose of watching films, dramas, or performances
-Assemblies in and around the court of law and offices of the government and local bodies in the discharge of Governmental and semi-governmental functions
-Assemblies in factories, shops, and establishment for normal trade, business, and callings
