Mumbai to Ahmedabad Tejas Express will have longer stoppage at select station

    Travelling between Mumbai to Ahmedabad with the new Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express, then this news is surely for you. The Western Railway has extended the stoppage timing of Mumbai to Ahmedabad and Ahmedabd to Mumbai Tejas Express trains at Surat. Now, these trains with halt at the station for five minutes. Earlier, these trains had a halt time of 3 minutes at Surat station. The Western Railway informed the passengers about the change through a tweet.

    "Western Railway has extended the halt of Train No. 82902/01 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Tejas Express at Surat station," the tweet read.

    Ahmedabad to Mumbai Tejas Express (Train No. 82902) which earlier reached Surat at 9.35 and left at 9.38, will now leave at 9.40.Mumbai to Ahmedabad Tejas Express ( Train No. 82901), which earlier reched Surat at 6.47 and left at 6.50, will now reach Surat at 6.45 and leave at 6.50.

    Ahmedabad to Mumbai Tejas Express departs from Ahmedabad at 6.40 am and reaches Mumbai Central at 1.10 pm. On its return journey, Mumbai to Ahmedabad Tejas Express departs from Mumbai Central at 3.40 pm and arrives in Ahmedabad at 9.55 pm.

    Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express is the fastest train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. While the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Duronto Express covers the same distance in 6 hours 25 minutes, Ahmedabad-Mumbai Shatabdi Express takes 6 hours 35 minutes to complete the journey.
