As reported by ANI, NIA initiated a case on its own accord on August 20 of the previous year, registering it under different sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
On May 20, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended two criminals hailing from Punjab at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
They were allegedly linked to the Canada-based designated terrorist Arshdeep Dalla and the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). The individuals were deported from Manila before their arrest by the NIA.
