2 min read 19 May 2023, 06:18 PM ISTThe second edition of the undergraduate entrance exam is set to begin across the country on May 21. While it was earlier scheduled to end on May 31, the NTA decided to extend the exam schedule by at least four days to accommodate the higher number of candidates in certain cities
The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) has been deferred to May 29 in Manipur in view of the law and order situation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Friday.
As far as Manipur is concerned, there are about 3697 candidates who earlier opted to appear in Manipur for the CUET (UG) – 2023 examination. NTA has carefully reviewed the law-and-order situation in consultation with the state administration and contacted these candidates by telephone for asking their preferred city for the said examination. Some candidates who were not in Manipur or wanted to take the examination in another State/City are being allocated to other cities i.e., Delhi, Guwahati, etc. The option for a change of Centre for candidates from Manipur is still available.
Moreover, after contacting the State administration, the NTA has been advised to keep all examinations in the State of Manipur from 29 May 2023 onwards. Those candidates who may have got the Admit Card for 21 to 24 May 2023 or the City Intimation Slip for CUET (UG) – 2023 to be held between 25 to 28 May 2023 are required to contact NTA on 011 - 40759000 / 011 - 69227700 or e-mail at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in in case they want to change their City from Delhi, Guwahati, etc. to Imphal.
