A viral video of Indian cricket legendary MS Dhoni playing Candy Crush on his tablet aboard an IndiGo airline has taken the internet by storm.
In the video, an air hostess in IndiGo airline was seen offering chocolates to Dhone. The ace Indian cricketer warmly acknowledged her gesture and interacted with her. Within the same video, a tab displaying the Candy Crush game was visible in front of Dhoni's seat.
The visuals of Dhoni playing the Candy Crush game sparked intrigue among fans. On the Twitter website, #CandyCrush started trending following Dhoni's video. Many Twitter users shared nostalgic comments for the game and others appreciated Dhoni's adorable hobby. However, some netizens have also said that Dhoni was playing Pet Rescue Saga and not Candy Crush.
However, Candy Crush started trending on Twitter after the video went went viral on the internet. The mobile gaming application has claimed that more than 30 lakh people downloaded their app in just three hours. Candy Crush's Twitter page thanked Dhoni for trending the game.

For those unaware, Dhoni is not just good at cricket but he is an avid fan of video games. Dhoni enjoys playing Call of Duty, FIFA, and PUBG. In The Ranveer Show on YouTube, Indian bowler Ishant Sharma revealed, "We all carry PlayStations wherever we go. Mahi bhai loves playing online/video games like Call of Duty and he's quite fond of PubG."
Earlier this month, the former India captain successfully underwent left knee surgery in a Mumbai hospital.
Under Dhoni's captaincy, India has won the top prize in all formats: topping the Test rankings for 18 months starting December 2009, the 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the World T20 on his captaincy debut in 2007.
